Working closely with the Sand Mountain Seed Bank, my goal is to grow the old Southern seeds your grandmother might have grown in her North Alabama garden. These seeds are rich with stories and extremely well adapted to this place, allowing them to thrive in our soils and climate, while withstanding local pests and climate extremes.

We do not use chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides in our farming practices. Just well tended soil, compost, mulch, worm castings, fish emulsion, compost and plant teas.

I use ancient wisdom and the old Southern oral tradition of planting crops by the right signs and the phases of the moon to produce the most nutritious, cosmically aligned crops in North Alabama,
