The Orange Scotch Bonnet is a fiercely hot Caribbean heirloom chili pepper famous for both its intense heat and unique flavor profile. Cultivated primarily in Jamaica, it gets its name from its distinctive, squat shape resembling a Scottish Tam o' Shanter hat. It is between 100,000 to 350,000 Scoville units. It is highly volatile, delivering heat similar to a habanero, but finishes with a highly sought-after sweetness.
